Over the last couple of week, we here at Studio MAP had the chance to work with a client that wanted some macro photography, and his choice of subject, flowers.
Nature and the world of Macro always fantasized me and I wanted to dive into this more and see what type of results that I can create. Well I am happy to say that I am more than pleased with what I was able to capture with my camera.
This is not your ordinary photography where you have a subject and you just “grip it and rip it” with macro photography, and to top it off with living subject (flowers) you have to pay attention to what Mother nature has given you to admire and capture with your camera. Sometimes you will capture a beautiful image, or a insect doing something or even wildlife that is out and about and with a macro lens you can get right up to the action or subject without disturbing it.
The image above was taken with a lot of time and love to bring its beauty. From the water droplets falling off the petals to the beautiful colors that were coming off the flower it was a fantastic experience.
So if you have the time in your day, I encourage you to take some time out and see what the world beneath your feet has to offer! Also today being Nature Photography Day, see what you find around you.
