Over this past weekend we were working with a client and their fashion line. As we were working with the client they had a enormous amount of different styles of scarfs and head wraps. They themselves have been selling them locally but due to Super Storm Sandy had to rebuild their operations. So what we did is work with them to get some photography for their marketing campaigns It turns out that they did not have any shots of their lineup. So after speaking with them we were at last moment find models, hair stylist, and make up artist. Also without any fair notice was able to set up at their location the ability to do a fashion shoot! Yes we were just going there to take shots of their products but turned out to be a full blown fashion line up shoot. Lucky for us that we over pack, and was ready for the last minute full blown model shoot, vs getting ready for a commercial shoot.
So after we were finish with the fashion shoot, both myself and Camille (our Creative Director) was able to sneak away and get both the make up and product stylist away to get some candid shots with some of Camille’s favorite pieces.
Look One.
This snake skin head wrap was the star of the show, well what Camille says. The make up artist thought going with a high fashion look that we can have some fun with this piece. On this shot we decided to close in and get just a head shot with her and just the head wrap. Also if you notice that the snake skin has a special shine, well that is not because of professional lights! it is because of how the material is in real live.
The second and third look (see below) was also a eye catcher. Both the patterns of the head and neck scarf were eye catching from the start. Also the colors just jumped out from the lens, this was a look that we wanted to have! I had Camille put on the head wrap and neck scarf and took some shots. In no way the colors were altered in these photos and that this is the true colors of the items shown! 🙂
The third and final picture was the best. Seeing how we had both close ups on the head wraps Camille thought that it was be fitting to have a shot showing off the neck scarf in all of its glory. This shot was cool because again the color of the material just jumps off the fabric and it is very eye catching. I am especially fond of this picture because it shows off both model, and product and it has a high fashion look and feel to it. Again we wish that we had more time to work with the candid shots but overall we are happy with the results.
So there it is folks, our weekend and blog. We were very happy to work with this client and hope and wish them the best. Also once they get online, we will pass along their new website and store location so you too can get these pieces! 🙂
